Apollo and Kentec selected for No. 1, Friday Street, London.


Another recent successful upgrade to control equipment manufactured by Kentec using Apollo Fire detectors in London is No. 1, Friday Street. This building is owned and occupied by Mizuho International - a major Japanese Bank and used as their London Headquarters. Mizuho is actively involved in many aspects of International Banking, including Lending and Deposit taking, forward exchange contracts and Guarantees. The Fire detection system comprises a custom-built, 16 loop Apollo protocol, Kentec Syncro in a 19" rack unit complete with a 68 led mimic, VA/PA isolate and 4 rotary plant control switches connected to approximately 700 Apollo intelligent fire detectors, 100 manual callpoints and interfaces to numerous air sampling and gas release control panels. The System was supplied through MECE Fire and Security.
