New enhanced Loop Explorer Available

As part of our regular improvement program for the Syncro control panel range, a new version of the Loop Explorer configuration application was released in January.

This new version provides support for the new features added in Version 6 firmware Syncro and Syncro AS control panels, which became available in February. Older versions of Loop Explorer cannot support these new firmware panels and therefore it is essential that all commissioning engineers use this new version.

This new version provides the following new features:

• More configuration options for resounding previously silenced sounders when additional fire events are reported
• More configuration options for Loop Input/Output devices, to determine how each input and output responds when zone disablements are active
• The ability to configure addressable base sounders and wall sounders to be included in zone disablements
• Improved tone configuration options for Apollo Discovery Base Sounder Beacon devices
• Improved Hochiki CHQ-POM powered output module configuration selection

Loop Explorer Version 6 remains compatible with older firmware control panels.
