The Syncro / Syncro AS panel allows the XPander devices to be configured as XPander device types and as such provides individual Radio specific fault events for the XPander devices. Unfortunately these radio specific faults were being reported when some XP95 devices were reporting a fault, therefore instead of showing an Internal Fault message, some XP95 devices may report a Tamper Fault or Battery Disconnected Fault, which is misleading. This problem will only be reported when there is a genuine fault on the device, but can cause confusion. Apollo XPander device types shown in View device As with the fault messages for XPander devices, some occurrences of Radio devices have been seen in the View Devices menu for XP95 devices. This does not affect the device operation, but again can cause confusion when interrogating the system. Multiple fire events on Apollo protocol panel may cause a watchdog fault when the panel is reset If an Apollo protocol panel has a number of active fire events present, then is reset using the front panel reset control, on some occasions the panel can report a watchdog fault and re-initialise. This only affects systems with multiple active fire events. Single fire operations, followed by reset will clear without problem. Add device engineering menu did not show all Apollo devices Some of the Apollo devices were not listed in the Access Level 3 Add device menu. This has been revised to include all Apollo devices Hochiki Call Point operation during initialisation If the panel is powered on or re-initialised (rebooted) with a broken Hochiki call point, the panel did not report a fire event for this device. The panel will now give a fire condition if the system is initialised with a broken call point. Hochiki day / night sensitivity or mode changes filling the event log When Hochiki Multisensor devices are changed from one mode to another (as part of the automatic day / night sensitivity setting option), the device has to be initialised to verify the correct parameters are set. This initialising message is shown on the panel display but was also stored in the panel event log, which caused the log to quickly fill and clear older more relevant events. This version no longer stores these event messages. Argus Vega platform sounder silence Following silencing / resetting the Argus Vega protocol platform sounders (driven from the remote led output of the detection device), occasionally some sounders would not respond to the silence / reset and remained active. Additional verification checking is now implemented to ensure that all platform sounders are now switched off. Argus Vega Radio Translator double address fault The Double Address fault for a Radio Translator device was not correctly reported on the control panel. The effect of this is if there is another device addressed at the same address as the translator, the translator would show a device fault, but not a double address fault. This version now identifies this double address fault. Panel Outputs wired to panel inputs reset problem In some configurations, it can be necessary to wire panel relay outputs to panel inputs to provide additional switching. When the panel is reset, the panel inputs were cleared before the panel outputs and therefore the input is re-activated before the output cleared. The result of this is that any cause and effects processed from the panel input will reset, and then operate again after the panel is reset. This version of panel code will not interrogate the input until all outputs are cleared. This symptom also applied when the panel inputs re configured with input delays. Silent test mode LCD message Zones selected in one-man test with the sounders off were shown in the panel display as Audible. This version correctly shows the zone in test state. MIOU / LIOU output state in View Devices menu When activated, the input channels of these devices were shown as ON this is now amended to Activated in line with all other devices Hochiki Loop Module Initialising message The Hochiki CHQ-DZM, CHQ-DRC and CHQ-SZM devices, if re-configured via the panel menu, would show an initialising message that did not clear unless the panel is restarted (rebooted). This is now resolved. If updating the firmware in networked panels, all panels should be updated to the same version. If the network contains a mixture of Syncro and Syncro AS panels, then V5.90 should be installed in the Syncro panels and V5.22 in the AS panels.
