We are now stocking panels!

At Kentec we pride ourselves on customer service. Our lead-times and on-time delivery service have always been market leading – manufacturing every panel to your individual order here in the UK.

As demand for our product continues to grow, our product range expands, and as the number of customers we supply increases we need to adapt our business systems in order to maintain and to further improve our customer service performance. One such measure recently taken has been to introduce a stocking system for a large part of our product range, this will enable us to further improve our lead-times and on-time deliveries; products can be shipped from stock on the day the order is received and often delivered next-day (subject to terms and conditions).

We are initially stocking our popular range of conventional, extinguishing and single loop (expandable to 2 loop) panels and are currently setting up stocks for what is soon to become the market leading range of analogue addressable control panels, Taktis.

For more information on the panels that we currently have in stock please contact your local Business Development Manager. Also for more information on our product catalogue please visit our website.

Important Announcement- Kentec to close Saturday Technical Support

After some careful consideration it has been agreed that Kentec will close their Saturday technical support service to customers. We have made this decision based on the number of calls we were receiving on a Saturday and have found the service to not be viable. The Saturday service used to run between 8am-12pm but is now closed indefinitely.

We do apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause to our customers, however for technical support on weekdays please contact our office on +44 01322 222 121 and select option 1 or email techsupport@kentec.co.uk. We will be open from Monday to Friday, 8.30am- 5.30pm.

For more information please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Events Hub

It’s been a busy June for the Kentec team, attending various events around the UK. Did you catch us at any this month? If you did and would like some more information about us, don’t hesitate to get in contact. In the meantime, read our reviews of the shows we attended this month!

ADI Expo- The National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham

Thursday 8th June saw the second ADI UK Expo take place at Birmingham’s National Motorcycle Museum. The ADI Expos are an informal layout and encourage the fire and security industries to gather in one place to display the products that ADI distribute both nationally and internationally. It is a great opportunity for Kentec to meet the end users of our products as well as supporting ADI.

Our team for the day included Northern UK Business Development Manager Richard Day, South Western UK Business Development Manager Kevin McCarthy and Events & Marketing Coordinator Charlotte Eames. Richard and Kevin we’re enthusiastic to meet many of the customers who support Kentec and discuss our products in more detail. The products we displayed on the day were just a small representation of our most popular products which included the Conventional Sigma CP, our addressable Syncro AS alongside a range of miscellaneous items including the warning sign which can come in many different variations.

It was great to see everyone who came along and visited Kentec and we look forward to seeing some more of you in Manchester on Thursday October 26th!

International FIREX- Excel, London

June is the month that the fire industry descends on London’s Excel for the three day FIREX International show! A much larger layout than most shows, FIREX brings the world of fire together in one place to showcase the latest in fire detection, protection and prevention. This year’s FIREX had huge significance as it is extremely important to highlight the need for fire safety due to recent tragic events. The show ran from Tuesday 20th to Thursday 22nd June and it was a very busy three days for the team.

On display this year, we had many different pods that featured a range of our most popular and identifiable products. You may have noticed our back wall that featured most of our Taktis products which included the Taktis fire, a certified 8 loop addressable solution which our sales team enjoyed showing to our visitors on the stand. Our other pods included our extinguishant, analogue, UL/FM and OEM product ranges which were just as popular to our visitors who wanted to know more about how Kentec could offer a life safety solution.

Over the three days, we had a vast amount of visitors to our stand from all over the UK, Europe and rest of the world. It was great to meet and catch up with some of our customers, meet new customers and introduce ourselves to visitors who may have never approached Kentec previously. Thank you to everyone who took the time to visit our stand!

Next year’s FIREX show will be held from Tuesday 19th to Thursday 21st June 2018 and we looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

Where will you see us next?
As the summer months approach us the holiday season looms which means the events calendar takes a short break. You will next catch Kentec at the FIM show in the autumn. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
