Edition 78 July 2013

A bit a of Squeeeezzzze but we continue to invest

It's been over 8 years since we purchased our first Amada punch press. We upgraded around 2008 when we installed our Amada Europe EMZ 2510 automatic sheet metal punching machine.

Once again to increase capacity to meet our ever increasing demand we have added an additional Amada EMZ 3510 NT45 punch press which has now been installed at our Dartford facility. The new Amada will significantly increase our production capacity and allow us to continue to offer our customers fast turn round for their orders.

Improved and extended tooling capability will also add to productivity and improve quality.

The net result of this addition is better product, faster turnaround and reduced costs which will allow us to remain at the top of an ever more competitive market.

New AlarmSense fire alarm panel now Approved!

Our new AlarmSense compatible Sigma CP-A 2, 4 and 8 zone fire alarm control and indicating panels are now approved and certified to EN54 pts 2 and 4.

The Sigma CP-A panels are designed to deliver significant time and cost savings, compared with standard four-wire conventional systems, through greatly reduced cabling and installation requirements.
The AlarmSense range allows Apollo Alarmsense devices, including smoke and heat detectors, call points, base sounders, base sounder/beacons and relay units, to be wired to the same pair of cables, with rapid system configuration for common, zonal or two-stage alarm by simply setting one of the panels configuration options.

False alarm management is also very efficient, with alarm verification via the general and local alarm facility on AlarmSense sounders and beacons, which is particularly useful in Houses of Multiple Occupation (HMO) such as student accommodation or nursing homes.

All control panels have an integral, mains powered battery charger and power supply compliant with the requirements of BS EN54-4.

Goodbye Sigma

After 13 years in service we have discontinued the Sigma Panel. The Sigma K1000 series was a range of conventional panels available as a 1, 2, 4 or 6 zones.
