New Products unveiled in Dubai!

For the third year in succession, Kentec and VES will be exhibiting at Intersec 2011 in Dubai.

Following our successful participations at Intersec 2009 and 2010 (which led to the appointment of several VES Distributors in the region) the VES, UL listed/ FM approved Fire Alarm Solution and UL-listed Voice Alert (Voice Evacuation and Fireman’s telephone system) will be exhibited along with some exciting new products which will be on show for the first time.

We will be exhibiting selected key products from both the VES, UL and FM range plus headline products from the Kentec EN ranges including analogue addressable, Conventional and extinguishant releasing panels
We continue to look for new distributors outside of the UAE for VES products as well as customers for both VES and Kentec products.

Service beyond the call of duty

As you are aware we took the decision to provide limited customer support cover during the period between Christmas and the New Year. Traditionally this has been a time when manufacturers close down but for the second year running we decided to offer a limited service to our customers.

We are pleased to say that we were able to help over 100 people with mainly technical but some sales related enquiries over the period. We were able to help one customer who had a water damaged control panel on a major and prestigious site by supplying several replacement parts during this time and allowing the customer to get the system up and running.

 Thanks to all the Kentec staff who volunteered and we will try to do the same again this year.

10 year Service Award goes to ...

Having completed 9 years 11 months and three weeks service with Kentec. Charlotte Hansell decided to find pastures new. Charlotte worked in several areas of the business during her time at Kentec including Sales and more recently purchasing.

For several years Charlotte requested confirmation that for her 10 years service she would receive a FIRE ALARM PANEL in recognition of her long service. As Charlotte was within touching distance of the milestone it was decided she should receive her 10 year service award. On 23rd December Charlotte left Kentec and was over the moon with her Fire Alarm panel complete with its customised fascia. Those of you who know Charlotte will recognise how appropriate the design on the front panel is!
