And we all went off to Manchester

If you attended Firex North in Manchester, UK last week, you will have seen the launch of our new Remote Indicator as well as the five powerful new additions that we added to our product range earlier in the year.

If you were not able to join us at Firex North we are giving you a chance to catch up and discover our new addition which is the Remote Indicator. The Remote Indicator LED Units allow the LED associated with a fire detector to be extended to a visible location in areas where the detector itself is concealed.

The other products which are new for 2010 include the Sigma CPA, Alarmsense compatible panel and our new range of illuminated Warning Signs featuring high intensity LED indicators; These can be customised to meet your message requirements. Also shown were our new audible-visual alarm-status Indicator Units, and the new S408 Power Supply Units for continuous power or battery charging. Not forgetting OpenConnect, BMS Communications Interface for easy-to-configure integration of Apollo Syncro or Syncro AS networks to Building Management Systems via a wide range of protocols.

These products herald a range of significant new Kentec products being launched in 2010 that will further add to the development of the UK's most comprehensive fire detection and extinguishing control panel range.

If you would like a brochure giving initial information on these products, or further technical details or price and availability information on these or any of our leading edge products, please contact us at

And the Winner is ...

During the show we ran a competition with the prize being an "experience" with Red Letter Day. The draw was made at the close of the show by Mr Ron Alalouff, the Editor of the Info4Fire website, a UBM media Organisation.

The Winner was Mr Richard Payne of Sentinel Fire & Security Ltd. Congratulations to Richard and we await details of his chosen experience.
