New UL and FM Listed Control Panels from Kentec

The all new Elite RS Fire Control Panel has been granted listing approvals by Factory Mutual (FM Approvals) and Underwriters Laboratories Inc (UL Approvals).

Elite RS is a versatile range of open protocol fire alarm control panels which are available with one or two detection loops capable of hosting up to 250 devices. Elite RS uses leading edge microprocessor based electronics to provide a flexible control system with high reliability and integrity.

The Elite RS control panels can be stand alone for use in small systems or networked up to a maximum of 64 panels and are compatible with our existing full range of Elite fire alarm products.

“Christmas opening a resounding success…" say Kentec customers

Over the years it has become the norm for manufacturers to close down over the Christmas and New Year period. However last Christmas we took the decision to stay open with a skeleton staff for the 2009/2010 holiday. This decision was taken not to provide Kentec with additional revenue but to help support our customers during these difficult times.

We are delighted to report that the Christmas opening was a resounding success. We were able to provide products to customers who were faced with breakdowns and our Technical Support was busy taking calls from many customers during this period. We received a number of complimentary messages thanking us for “being there” and we are happy that we were able to offer improved levels of support to our customers.

Thanks to all the Kentec staff who volunteered and we will try to do the same again this year.
