When Four Loops are not enough! - “Syncro” – Analogue Addressable Fire Control Panels – 6 & 8 Loop versions – Available now as standard.

As a direct response to increasing customer interest, we are now offering Syncro 6 & 8 Loop analogue-addressable panels as a standard item and with faster delivery, whereas previously they were specially built to order. Available in all three supported Analogue detector protocols and with 96 zonal leds as standard, these panels can be purchased either with or without in-built printers. They come with two ENS400, 4 amp PSUs and network cards are fitted as standard. These standard products are supplied in Surface Mounting versions only and without the enable keyswitch.

As usual, Syncro Response, Focus and Focus+ repeaters, the modem as well as GUIDE and GUIDE repeater are able to be seamlessly integrated to these Syncro panels and they are able to be networked to other panels in the Syncro family. The internal Syncro bus also allows the local interconnection of the ancillary Input/Output cards - relay, additional sounder and conventional zone modules, as well as the Syncro View Repeater.

EN12094-1 Compliant Extinguishant Control Unit

This Sigma XT+ ECU is a feature rich and fully compliant Extinguishant Control Unit designed to interface to existing conventional or addressable fire control panels.
This unit has the same wide range of configuration options as the Sigma XT+ combined detection and extinguishing control panels but with two additional, fully monitored inputs for activating the system.
These inputs may be operated from relay contacts in conventional fire control panels or via addressable modules of any protocol.
With a powerful EN54-4 compliant power supply, single or multi-area ECUs can be supplied for any extinguishing control application.
Sigma ECUs are compatible with all 4 wire Sigma Si status units an ancillary boards.

Strengthening the Quality Control Department

Sandra Read has been appointed Kentec’s Compliance Clerk. Sandra joined Kentec as an Accounts Assistant covering for maternity leave. With Kentec achieving a number of product approvals including those under the VES trade mark as well as ISO 14001 compliance issues it was decided that all compliance issues needed to be co-ordinated.
Sandra’s background was in medical compliance and so she is well suited to this role. We wish her well in her new role.
