Kentec Two-loop Syncro AS – Where size matters

The Syncro AS is part of a versatile range of open protocol fire alarm control panels fully compatible with existing Syncro fire alarm panel technology.

Now available with one or two detection loops capable of hosting up to 126 devices (Apollo), 240 devices (Argus Vega) or 127 devices (Hochiki), Syncro AS uses leading edge microprocessor based electronics to provide a flexible control system with high reliability and integrity.

Suitable for all small to medium sized fire detection systems, Syncro AS control panels can also be networked to become part of much larger systems if the need arises, therefore providing a future proof solution for almost any installation.

With its large graphical display and ergonomic button and indicator layout, the Syncro AS control panel is simple and straightforward to understand for installers, commissioning engineers and end users alike.

Like the well-proven and popular Syncro, the Syncro AS now supports “Open-Ended” networks – it is no longer essential to have the network as a closed “loop” which enables network systems wired with this topology to have the panels replaced without re-wiring.

The Syncro AS also supports numerous new devices from Kentec’s detector partners: Apollo Fire Detectors, Argus Security and Hochiki Europe.

Syncro Lite is no more

With the recent release of the new Syncro AS 2 Loop analogue addressable control panel and the levels of interest and satisfaction shown in it, we have decided to discontinue the Syncro Lite.

We would like to advise you that the Syncro AS Two-loop panel complies with EN54 Parts 2 & 4. It has all the functionality of the Syncro Lite. In fact the Syncro AS 2 loop has more features than the Syncro Lite including Networking, support of all Syncro I/O cards and View repeater. Syncro AS is offered in a more compact and aesthetically pleasing package and at a more competitive price. Only the Syncro Lite is affected, all other Syncro variants will remain readily available.
