An Introduction to Syncro AS -
Single Loop Analogue Addressable Control Panel

The Syncro AS is now in full production and is a direct replacement for the well established Solo 2 at a comparable price. There is also a lite version available offering a very cost effective solution for smaller, standalone installations. Syncro users will immediately be familiar with the functionality of the Syncro AS panel. It has the same display, help screens, menus and controls with all of the power and flexibility of the multi-loop Syncro system. No retraining is required.

Syncro AS will connect seamlessly to other Syncro AS, Syncro multi-loop or Syncro Focus repeaters via the fully fault tolerant and robust Syncro network. It can also be connected to all Syncro peripherals such as I/O, Relay, Sounder and Conventional Zone modules to provide an additional 512, fully programmable points.

The Syncro AS offers many other benefits over the Solo 2 Control Panel including: a third protocol (Argus Vega), menu selectable protocol (Apollo/Hochiki only), EN54-2 and EN54-4 compliance and many more. A three-year warranty comes as standard.

End of an era!

Following the successful introduction of Syncro AS we will cease manufacturing the popular Solo 2 range of control panels at the end of December 2006.
The Solo was first produced back in 1997 and as one of the first economical single loop control panel solutions on the market, it became an instant success.
Time has moved on and unfortunately we have very limited scope to supply Solo 2 panels after January due to the obsolescence of certain key components – we will however endeavour to maintain stocks of spare parts for repair purposes, for as long as possible.
