Kentec achieve Investor in People award

We are pleased to announce that in December 2004, Kentec Electronics gained recognition as an Investor in People. The Investors in People, international standard is awarded to companies who can demonstrate that all employees are involved with the successful operation and development of the business through training and development.
Work started in preparation for the assessment at the beginning of 2004. During this time we reviewed the training and development of all staff and implemented measures to monitor its effectiveness. The assessment lasted for two days and a cross section of the staff were interviewed in depth by an independent assessor. We were pleased to achieve recognition at the first assessment. The achievement of this award will allow us to continually develop our staff and to improve the quality of goods and services we offer our customers.

ENS400 POWER SUPPLY GETS
EN54-4 APPROVAL AND KITEMARK

Following extensive and rigorous testing to the demanding EN54-4 standard for fire alarm power supply equipment, we are pleased to announce that the ENS400, 4 Amp power supply and battery charger has been certified to EN54-4 by BSI and added to our Kitemark license.

As well as providing the power for our approved range of Syncro analogue addressable fire control panels the ENS400 is now available to provide power for other fire system components allowing fully compliant BS5839 : Part 1 : 2002 installations to be realised.

Following the successful launch of Kentec’s In The Loop electronic newsletter we are to introduce a new publication In the Technical Loop
In the Technical Loop is aimed at providing up to date technical information and engineering tips on Kentec products. It will also advise of any panel firmware revisions, when applicable.
This regular publication is ideal for commissioning and service engineers, but may also provide useful additional information for technical sales staff.
